Murderous Fun Was Had In August!
August 2025 saw the return of Bispham CastAways’ ever popular interactive murder mystery on Friday the 15th and Saturday the 16th at their theatre home at Holy Family church hall on Links Road (FY1 2RU). It was the debut play of new playwright Hayley Price, Gunshot Wedding, which she also directed and starred in following an accident which caused Tracy Johnson to drop out as Ruth Davidson.
It centred around the wedding of Mia Birchwood and Christian Davidson at the Manor House of Christian’s parents, Richard and Ruth and the audience was encouraged to dress as wedding guests. Bringing together a group of wedding guests and family with secrets and their own agendas. Did the wedding actually go ahead and who survived? This murder mystery kept the audience, and cast, guessing (and laughing) throughout!
The night involved a three act play, grilling the suspects, a lovely hot pot and apple pie supper, a fun table quiz, extra guess the murder weapon raffle and lots of laughs and gasps!
Everyone had a great time and the murderer reveal will go down as a scary one!
