On Saturday May 30th at Moor Park Library at 1pm, Bispham CastAways will bring a taste of theatre to local families. A perfect first introduction to theatre for little ones, the CastAways will perform a mini-pantomime, “Jack And The Beantin” by Peter Bond and directed by Hayley Price. Lasting just 30-40 minutes, it is great for younger children, yet still includes all the usual pantomime interaction… Oh Yes It Does! We follow Jack and his Mother, Mrs Broke, who is Broke by name and by nature. She needs Jack to sell the family cow Gertrude, especially as Jack needs money to set up a home for his beloved Beth whom he is to marry. Enter the Beanseller with some supposed magic beantin and the adventure begins!

It is completely FREE to come and watch, although any donations will be very much appreciated, and children just need to be accompanied by an adult. There is no need to book, just turn up on the day. This is a great opportunity to expose children to theatre and have fun to boot!
