Pantomime Success

The Cast of Cinderella

Bispham CastAways performances of Cinderella by Ben Crocker went down an absolute treat with two very appreciative audiences! The acting was superb and included onstage debuts from Tara Stott as Cinderella, Emma Jelley as Prince Charming, Jennifer Maycock as Snatch and Adam Smithson as Bispham Bronco. The set and a lot of props had been lovingly hand produced through hours of hard work by the extremely talented Gary Tunnicliffe. An amazing amount of sound, lighting and special effects had taken further hours of dedicated searching, sourcing, building and creating by the fabulous Ian Fleetwood. This was a true group effort for the CastAways who are all extremely proud of the fairytale pantomime they created!

Spooky Fun at Marsh Mill

Linda at Marsh Mill approached Bispham CastAways to participate in their Halloween Fayre in the square along with singing Disney villains and some strange guests from Transylvania! A group of the undead CastAways members stalked around the square scaring the children with peeling faces and various wounds then performed a special zombilicious dance to the instantly recognisable “Thriller”. This was followed by a beautiful song from our very own Cinders from the upcoming family pantomime, “Cinderella” by Ben Crocker which is on the 13th and 14th of December; Friday evening and Saturday matinee. She sang the song “The Climb” by Miley Cyrus to much applause. We would like to thank all those who participated and came out to watch.
